Let’s build a human. Impossible! Humans are born, not made (yet, anyways).
Let’s build a car. A bit overwhelming, isn’t it? We need an engine, that engine needs a water pump for cooling, the pump is made of a housing, a pulley, there are seals and a thingy that turns to pump the water. How about the distributor? And so on.
How about something simpler, a desk.
Still too complicated if you think about it. You need parts. You need raw materials.
What do we need to build a desk? We need wood or metal. We need drawers, but the drawers are made of other parts, the casters to move it around are made of other parts!
This is getting out of hand! Soon we will end up talking about atoms.
The point here is that vey complex structures like a car, can be broken down into parts. Those parts in turn, can be simplified into more parts if necessary. Even humans are made of parts made of parts made of parts (we just don’t assemble humans in factories).
If you have a project or a problem, they too can be broken into more manageable parts.
That is exactly what we are going to attempt here and we will learn to simplify our life into simpler tasks.
Just keep in mind, every part has a function, but some parts are optional. If it serves no purpose, maybe it shouldn’t be included.
Also, in some cases, we will buy the parts already made, but for the most part, we will buy raw materials to build.
If you want to save time, you can buy everything right now and save the trouble and hassle.
There is satisfaction in accomplishing projects and it requires patience. You will also save money and learn a lot by doing your own stuff.
Break complex problems into smaller parts, and solve those individually.
Make a list of things to do and simplify your chores or projects.
